A person centered system must have a work force that has the right skills, is dedicated, stable, and sufficient in numbers. At all levels of the workforce people need to be committed to a vision of a system that supports those who use the services to have lives of their own choosing in the community. Culture and practices of organizations contribute to retention. Person centered skills and practices need to be taught and used at all levels.
In this World Café, we will discuss our best ideas for supporting supporters and our hopes for increasing stability and effectiveness in those who do the work.
